Notifications

See all the latest updates from your website in one place below the clock.

Throughout the day, the app collects updates from your website, such as new inquiries and reviews. You'll also find messages from us here.

Step 1 by 5
G
Downloading the app …
  1. Step 1

    Open the notifications

Tap the bell icon in the upper-right corner. It's there no matter which tab you're on at the bottom of the screen.

The number on the clock shows how many unread notifications you have.

  2. Step 2

    Read and Unread

Unread notifications have a colored background, a bold headline, and a dot on the right. When you tap one, it’s marked as read—even on other phones using the app for your website.

Tap “Mark All as Read” in the top-right corner to mark them all at once. The button is only visible when there are unread notifications. Pull down on the list to load the latest ones.

  3. Step 3

    Mark as unread

    Coming in the next version

Press and hold a notification to mark it as unread again so you can come back to it later. If it’s unread, it will be marked as read without opening it.

The app displays “Marked as unread ” or “Marked as read ” at the bottom of the screen. If you tapped the wrong one, tap “Undo.” This also applies to other phones that use the app for your website.

  4. Step 4

    Tap a notification

Many notifications take you directly to the next step:

    • A new inquiry opens the inquiry itself. Learn more about Inquiries.
    • A new review opens the Reviews section.
    • A contact request from the chatbot opens the conversation. Learn more about the Chatbot.
    • The chatbot’s daily overview opens Chatbot.

Messages from us appear only in the list.

  5. Step 5

    Message on the phone

You can also receive notifications as messages on your phone even when the app is closed. Select "Yes" when your phone asks if the app can send notifications.

If you tap the message, the app will open the content the message refers to.

Latest Changes

Icons on notifications and messages about large files Coming in the next version

Notifications now have icons so you can see what they’re about: an envelope for an inquiry, a star for a review, and an “i” for a message from us. If a file takes more than a minute to prepare in the Media Library or Featured Photos, the app now indicates that it’s still being prepared. And if you’ve searched in the Media Library, your search query will still be in the search bar when you return.

Mark as unread with a long press Coming in the next version

Would you like to come back to a message or notification later? Tap and hold it, and it will be marked as unread again. If you tapped the wrong one, just tap " Undo."

A notification initiates the inquiry itself

If you tap a notification about a new inquiry, you'll now be taken directly to that inquiry instead of the home page.
