Scan and log in
Log in to your website's admin panel using a QR code—no password required.
With " Scan and Log In," you can access your website's admin panel on your computer without entering a password. Just scan the QR code on the login page using the app. You'll find "Scan and Log In " under " Your Account," right above "Log Out."

Step 1
Find the QR code
Go to your website’s login page on your computer: yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php. This is the page where you usually enter your username and password. If your website has a different login address, use that one instead.
Below the login fields, there is a box with a QR code and the text “Log in with the app.” The box is in English.
- The code is only valid for a short time. If it says “Code expired — reload the page,” reload the page to get a new one.
- If you don’t see the box, you’re probably already logged in. Log out first, or open the login page in an incognito window. If the box is still missing, please contact us.

Step 2
Scan the code
Open Scan, log in to the app, and point the camera at the QR code on your computer's screen.

Step 3
Approve Login
The app displays "Approve Login " along with your website and the user you're logged in as. It also shows how many seconds the code is still valid. Under "From IP," you can see where the login is coming from.
Tap “Approve.” If this isn’t you trying to log in, tap “Cancel.”

Step 4
You are logged in
After a moment, the computer will log you into the admin panel automatically. The app will indicate that you are now logged in to the website.
If you need to log in on another computer, tap “Approve Another” and scan again.

Step 5
If the code has expired
If you scan an old code, the app will display the message "The code has expired or been used." Reload the login page on your computer to get a new QR code. Tap " Try Again " in the app and scan the new code.
If the timer runs out while you’re on the “Approve Login” screen, the app will simply return to the scanner. Just scan the code again.
