Invite a customer

Invite a new customer from a demo page using a QR code, text message, or email.

For sale only

From a demo page, you can invite a new customer directly in the app—for example, to a meeting. The customer gets their own app right away, even before the website is built.

Downloading the app …
  1. Step 1

    Find Invite a Customer

Log in to a demo site and go to Your Account. At the top, you'll see " Invite a Customer " and " My Invitations."

These buttons are only available on demo sites. The invitation process consists of three steps, and the bar at the top shows which step you’re on.

  2. Step 2

Have the customer download the app

The first step is to download the app. Select Apple or Android, and have the customer scan the QR code with their phone to download the app.

Tap Continue. If the customer already has the app, you can skip ahead.

  3. Step 3

Select a brand and enter the CVR number

On the " Register Customer " screen, select " Brand " and " Country " and enter the customer's CVR number. The app remembers the brand you selected last time.

For Danish companies, the app looks up the number immediately and displays the company name and address. Verify that it’s the correct customer, then tap “Continue.”

  4. Step 4

If the CVR number cannot be found

    • We can't find the CVR number: please check the number. If this is a test or a brand-new business, check the box next to "I know the CVR number doesn't exist. "
    • We can't look up the CVR number right now: check the number yourself and check the box next to "I have verified that the CVR number is correct."
    • Not active in the CVR registry: the number exists, but the company is no longer active.

Outside Denmark, the app cannot look up the number. Just enter the company’s number.

  5. Step 5

    Share the invitation

A "Customer Invitation " with a QR code will now appear. Have the customer scan it, or send it via text message or email.

"SMS" and "Email" open your default messaging or email app with the text already filled in, so you can select the recipient and edit the text. "Copy Invitation " copies the text with the link, so you can paste it elsewhere.

The link is the same everywhere, so it doesn’t matter which one the customer opens. Tap “Done” to close.

  6. Step 6

    What the customer does

The customer opens the link on their phone. If the customer doesn’t have the app, the link shows how to download it, and the code is also displayed there.

In the app, the customer enters their full name and company name and taps “Create Account.” If the app found the company in the CVR registry, the company name will already be filled in, but the customer can correct it. The country and CVR number are pre-filled and cannot be changed. The customer is taken directly to the app and can track the development of their website.

  7. Step 7

    The same company again

A business can only have one active invitation at a time. If you enter a CVR number that already has an active invitation, you’ll receive the same one again, and any links you’ve sent will still work.

A new invitation can only be created once the old one has been used. The duration of the invitation is listed below the QR code. View all your invitations under “My Invitations.”

The customer's information is included with the invitation Coming in the next version

The information the CVR registry has about the company is now synced with the customer’s own app, so the customer doesn’t have to re-enter the company details.

The CVR number is looked up before the invitation is sent Coming in the next version

When you invite a new customer, the app retrieves the company's name and address from the CVR registry so you can verify that it's the correct company before sending the invitation.
